Egg Shell Mosaics

This is a small 25 1/2” tall table with one 4" deep drawer. The table is painted hunter green and sealed with a gloss polyurethane. The inside of the drawer is painted a golden yellow. The table top is 10 3/4” inch square with two sunflowers and leaves done in yellow, brown and green egg shell mosaic. The background is in hunter green egg shell mosaic and then the whole top is sealed with several layers of varnish. There are two petals on the front of the drawer, which are also done in egg shell mosaic. It is signed and dated inside the drawer. Truly one-of-a-kind, as I never repeat a design.

This is a 3 inch mirror mounted on a 8 X 6 inch oval. Some of the photos are taken from the side to cut down on glare and they make it look like the mirror is off to the side. It's not. It's precisely in the middle of the oval. The oval is painted black.
Surrounding the mirror is my egg shell mosaic in bright red. In the right corner is a wooden cutout Scottish Terrier mosaiced in black egg shells. All sealed in glossy varnish with a hook for easy hanging.

This is a 3 inch mirror mounted on a 6 1/4 inch wooden circle. Some of the photos are taken from the side to cut down on glare and they make it look like the mirror is off to the side. It's not. It's precisely in the middle of the circle. The edge of the circle is green and white and the background of the circle is berry red. The watermelon cutout in the corner is the same colors.
I really love the way this one came out. The red eggshells are a little bit streaky and it looks a lot like the streaky glass you see in mosaics. It gives it a lot of visual interest. This, like most of my pieces, is OOAK.
Surrounding the mirror is my egg shell mosaic in red with black "seeds" then a thin circle of white eggshells and the outer edge is a dark green egg shell. In the right corner is a wooden cutout mosaiced in the same colors. All sealed in glossy varnish with a hook for easy hanging. Signed and dated.
